Over 40K!

Wuhuuu!
I got over 40K during the weekend. I might actually finish the whole thing before the end of the month is at hand. I'm talking about my NaNoWriMo story, if that was unclear. If I was as eager to write my other stories I'd glad but I'm not. For example: LEDE, my The Patriot fanfiction is in a slump right now and I'm too tired to even try to pull it out of it. And then there is the eternity story of my ElfQuest holt that I'm trying to get sorted, which isn't an easy business, but I'm trying. Plus all the other little ficlets or stories that I have managed to start.

Week and half to go so I believe it is safe to say that I can do this. Right?

Dancing broiler

I'm soooo sleepy.

Instead of reading last night (I've got four exams today) I was writing. For NaNoWriMo. That story is going pretty much like I anticipated. It's going to take a while for me to finish the story, especially when I'm dead serious about fixing the whole shebang after I've finished up the fifty thousand words that I need for NaNo. Hopefully I won't suffer from Writer's Block anytime soon, because I have too much fun with the main character, Roe. She sure can kick ass!

I was still up at 2 am. Doing the reading I missed during the evening. And after 3 am I just passed out. I saw this unbelievable weird dream of Hogwarts and a dancing broiler who was waving a wand and turning every one into dancing broilers. Including me. I woke up when a cat that turned into a dancing broiler in the mid jump attacked me. Strange... very odd, but I think it has something to do with the tiredness and the fact that the seventh Harry Potter book can't come any faster. :)

Sleepless in not-Seattle

I'm so tired. Soooo tired.
This is my version of Sleepless in Seattle. And in my version I am actually sleepless, not just pretend to be. Could someone please tell me why the hell I haven't been able to sleep in three nights? I fall asleep around 1 am. Then I wake up having slept only like two to three hours. I think I ought to start sleeping during the day... I woulnd't actually mind. I noticed, that I'm more productive evening time. Which may also be the reason why I stay up until one am. Last night I kept concocting these huge plans for my NaNoWriMo story. I came up only two plausible ideas that I could actually write. I'm not even so sure I'm up for it this year. I mean, I would have to get all the courses done before December and if I start writing for NaNo... I'll graduate never.

Well, at least I'll have two story ideas: Fantasy vs Vampires!

Kevin Bacon

I was talking with Tanja last night on the phone about actors. She was rather surprised that I didn't stare Orlando Bloom on DVD when I was sick but Will Smith. Well, there is a perfectly good reason for that! There's a guy who needed tape in order to cover something up while filming I, Robot! ;P And I wasn't in coma!

Oh that's icky )

Sick of being sick

I'm sick, or should I be saying still sick? Cause that's what I am. Still sick. For the past two weeks already. I have started to create conspiracy theories out of my sickness. Like it's the bloody bird flu, the doctors just won't diagnose it. Well, perhaps it's not. If it was, I'd be the patient zero around here. [At least I hope it's nothing serious...]
Well, I've been eating penicillin for the past week and my mother got freaked out because, for reason or other I developed an eye infection and she thougth that I was allergic to penicillin. So, I had to call to the doctor and ask her to give me a prescription to antibiotic eye drops. I got the eye drops, but I'm so sensitive about my eyes that it's HELL to try to put that one lousy drop into my eyes! 1 drop 4 to 5 times a day to both eyes. And I'm in HELL!! I'm not allergic to penicillin, thank heavens! If I was... I would be so dead by now...

Today's best news: Totoro will finally come to Finland! :) I'm not into anime or manga, but I love Hayao Miyazaki's movies. Well, that cat movie I could have lived without but, others were funny and great. My friends and I had hilarious time while watching Howl's Moving Castle.

Today's worst news: Miss K. is still blabbing shit about me and I'm starting to get really irritated about that.

Lazy ass

I've been such a lazy ass resently. I've taken the easy road and not update my English journal in weeks, even though I have had things to write.

I'll promise to update this journal too next week. My brains are shutting down and I still need to stay up for about seven or eight hours more. I need to watch the Eurovision song contest final to see if Lordi, the contestant of Finland (yay!!), will win. I have certain doubts, but I'm still more patriotic about that issue than with the fact that Finland is also playing for the possible place on the World Championship Ice Hockey tournament's final.

I'll return to watch the ceiling now and wait for Monday so we can go to watch the Da Vinci Code! And when I'm supposed to read for my Successful Entrepreneurship course's exam, which is on Wednesday?

Traveling anxiety and lack of it

Okay, I'm supposed to be going to Turku tomorrow, but I don't have travel anxiety what so ever! This isn't normal! Or, I'm gotten used to the traveling so the anxiety doesn't come anymore. Funny.

I still have no idea do I have to return back home on Sunday or can I leave on Monday morning, but I suppose it'll clear up later. I don't have to make that decision until Saturday. One thing is for sure, I wouldn't be too happy if I would have to take the night train. I'm afraid I'll get in the middle of some weirdoes and when I wake up they have stolen everything I have. It could happen, cause you never know about people.

I've been possessed lately by the Elizabethtown soundtrack. I got them last Wednesday. And I couldn't listen them untin Thursday evening since I had an exam on Thursday and I had to read. So, now I have been taking it all back. I've listened the three CDs for days in and days out. I'm still mad to the Finnish music world, so I won't be too sorry that I ordered the CDs from Amazon. It's much cheaper there!

I'm feeling little bit bad because I'm going to Turku tomorrow and leaving Tanja - my friend in crime and thesis - here alone to work on our questionary and the thesis project, but she told me that I shouldn't feel too bad. Besides, I'm going to get her something from Turku. Some books from the second-hand-bookstores and also one CD, which I probably find from the Free Record Shop. So there, I won't feel too bad now.

I'm having a huge Elizabethtown obsession going on here. It's released here on DVD on April 12th. I can hardly wait. I just love the soundtrack so much, but of course it would be great to see the movie again.

Lion King watching

Look at this! Isn't it cute?

I might have seen The Lion King and the Lion King 1½ too many times. Which is starting to be really scary. I mean, when you actually can remember all the lines Timon and Pumbaa are saying... that really freaks some of my friends out.

This little critter is a Meerkat (Suricata suricata). Just love it! It looks even like me!

Life isn't fair...

I just can't come up with any idea for the writing assignment I have to do! The theme for the asssignment is a "personal interview". I could just name some fictional character, real person or even an animal and make an interview of that, but I'm just thinking too damn much and nothing works. I gave an idea for my friend that apparently sucked all the rational thoughts off of my brains. Her interview is about a collector who collects snow. Yes, snow. And he preserves them between those laboratory glass or plastic strips on his bookshelf.. yes, on the bookshelf in his apartment. No freezer or anything..

God, that assignment is going to be a huge brain fart.

So, it's Friday, and I'm sitting at school once again and trying to write those essays, but apparently it is impossible for me right now. I'm such a lazy ass.

I was reading the booklet about the university admission tests and realized that I'm going to have to make that damn test in two hours or I'll be spending the night on a park bench 'cause the last buss from Savonlinna to my hometown Joensuu leaves at 3:15 pm! Unless, I'll take a cab from the Savonlinna centre to Kerimäki, where my friends parents live and knock at the door and introduce myself as "I'm Susan, Sanna's friend, and I'm going to have to sleep here till tomorrow." Great! Just great!

Well, it's been 6 days since I ordered the Elizabethtown soundtracks from Amazon. They said that it'll take 9 days minimum until they are here, but most likely it'll take like 36 days! So, I'm listening the soundtrack on Elizabethtown homepage. So tired of waiting.

Creating something new

Okay.
This is my second English LJ.
My first one was [info]sunnansnoogie but I got bored with the name.

Although, I admit that it is pretty clever.
Inside joke, guys, don't bother to think of it. It would be a drag to explain all.

This journal is "Friends Only!"
If you wish to read my boring stories (occasionally pretty entertaining...)
comment to be added! Thank you!
